Fitness Classes for Over 65s

I teach two popular daytime classes in Whetstone aimed at (but not restricted to) retired members of the community.

In these classes we focus on strength, fitness, flexibility and mobility but there’s another outcome that no trainer can plan for - friendship and community.

MONDAYS

Health Mixtape 12pm - improve fitness and strength, aimed at ages 65+ WATCH A CLIP

An achievable, walking based fitness class and low impact aerobics with music that will get your step count up and help you get in shape!

Open to men and women aged 60+

Do you need to lose weight, get fitter and feel stronger?

We begin with mobility and movement followed by 30 minutes of movement and easy aerobics to fun music, with a stretch to end.

This class is perfect for getting fit, strong and increasing your energy levels.

Optional light weights can be used during this class (provided).

WEDNESDAYS

Health Strength & Stretch 11.30am - build strength & improve mobility, aimed at ages 65+

An achievable seated or stood Fitness Pilates strengthening class (no mat work).

Open to men and women aged 60+

Do you find it hard to get out of bed or stand up from the sofa?

Is walking up and down stairs or looking over your shoulder a challenge?

This class is perfect for anyone who wants to get stronger, improve bone density, reduce aches and pains and improve their mobility.

Optional weights can be used during this class (provided).

Class duration: 45 minutes.

Class price: £9 per class.

How to pay: Book online here or simply turn up and pay with cash.

How do I know if there’s space available? The hall is large so there’s always space.

Who are the classes for? These classes are aimed at men and women aged 65+ but some younger people do often come to the classes too.
